However, a star did shine on April 11th. And one Susan Boyle glittered like a billion stars.

The 47-year-old most unlikely hero and most unlikely overnight sensation, stunned the judges, including the host, Simon Cowell, where they all gave her a resounding three "yes's" for her soaring rendition.

Her performance, which not only won over the audience, also has made her an overnight Internet sensation where videos of her performance have garnered millions of hits on Youtube and other sites.

Jordan Sparks was in the House
I know you've heard of Jordan Sparks. I bet you didn't know that she's a DubLi business associate and she sang with her angelic voice to open the convention. It was moving and thrilling to hear her sing.

She has had a DubLi partner program raising money to feed children in the US. Now, she is beginning a charity that will help feed the children of the world. She launched her new project called 'Go Earth'. I know many of us DublLi Business Associates will be supporting her organization. Dionne Warwick, the awesome singer is also part of the organization and she's also DubLi Business Associate.

I hear they will be talking about the company's directions and expectations for 2009. The are adding new shopping malls with that will feature top brand mall stores of top name stores, so customers will have another way to shop besides the very cool reverse auction platform that they have.

They will also be talking about the new partner program for non profit organizations and the really low cost of entry for those types of businesses that want to add a DubLi shopping site to their websites so they can make money when their donors and supporters shop.

It doesn’t matter what you are promoting or selling, article marketing is crucial for you to drive traffic to your site. You can be a network marketing maven influencing others to buy, let’s say, health products, or you can be an Internet marketer pushing other people’s products, article marketing is one of the best method and tactic to generate traffic to your website.

Drive Your Marketing By Driving Online Traffic 
 We all consume information to make decisions. While your website may be in who-knows-where on some server on the Internet, no one is going to know about your product or what you are trying to promote unless you drive them there. Some ways we can directly drive visitors to a website are the well know Pay Per Click campaigns that are run by Google, Yahoo, Live and other search engines in which your paid ad sends a visitor straight to your site. A necessary part of your strategy, depending on your budget, and yes it can be expensive.

Other ways are by also employing proper Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of your site or capture page so that your site pops up in the first 15 entries or so of a search engine when someone types in a keyword. We’ll talk about SEO tactics in another installment.

Basics of Article Marketing
Another fabulous way to drive website traffic is through article marketing. This needs to be one of your marketing tactics. In short, good article marketing is more about informing than directly selling. People want to be informed. So you do you best at putting together an article on a theme that is related to your marketing objectives and goals. For instance, for my natural products website I have written articles on topics such as eczema treatments and the value of organic products. I didn’t directly mention the products I sell because I wanted to inform the reader and provide information that makes me an authority or an informed source.

Give Them the Facts
When you write your article you can talk about an issue or topic that your product or service helps to solve or a problem that is out there and ways to solve it. Don’t worry about sounding professional, simply be informed. You can indirectly mention your product or your website as a source for people to visit. One thing is ease up on the heavy selling and promotion. It’s a turn off. Provide the reader with valid, good information. If you can’t write to save your life, then hire a freelance writer to drum up a couple of articles that you can use.

Now, what do you do once you have your article? You submit them to the tons of great outlets on the Internet that live for original content. That’s right, these sights exist because people from all walks of life and interest are writing articles on a topic that someone needs information on.

Check out the the popular e-zines and make sure you look for the index page for a link that says “submit article,” so that you can have your article distributed for free to tons of readers. E-zines and article directories will also publish your article on their website and provide you with a great link.
